About the Event

The end-of-year season is a time for giving, and at MEWAYZ, we are dedicated to ensuring that every family in our community feels the warmth of the season. Our Community Gift Drive is one of our most anticipated events, bringing together volunteers, donors, and community partners across Akwa Ibom to make a real, tangible difference.

Help us collect and wrap gifts for families in our community. We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to assist with sorting donations, wrapping gifts, and preparing delivery packages. Whether you can spare an hour or the whole day, your time will directly benefit low-income families, parents, and caregivers across Uyo.

Volunteer shifts available throughout the day. We will provide all wrapping materials, festive music, and refreshments for our hardworking volunteers. No prior wrapping experience is necessaryjust bring your holiday spirit!

What to Expect

check_circle Gift Sorting: Help organize incoming donations by age group and category.
check_circle Wrapping Station: Get creative at our wrapping tables. Bows, ribbons, and paper provided!
check_circle Card Writing: Write personalized holiday cards to accompany each gift package.
check_circle Refreshments: Hot cocoa, coffee, and holiday treats will be served all day.
